Anna is Clear, THE PATENT
Description of the invention
“……The invention relates to an anti-acne composition comprising Lactobacillus rye ferment and exclusive ingredients. The composition has been proven to be effective against infections of closed comedones. The invention further relates to a method for preparing the composition, to a roll-on applicator comprising the composition and to the use of the composition in the treatment of closed comedonal infections… “
Background of the invention
- Acne is a skin condition associated with the bacteria Cutibacterium acnes (formerly known as Propionibacterium acnes), or c. acne infections. It is clinically manifested by papules (red bumps), pustules and nodules.
- It is believed that sebaceous glands are an ideal growth space for C. acnes, an anaerobic gram-positive bacterium that is oxygen tolerant to some extent. It repeatedly interacts with the natural suggestive skin lipids in the sebaceous glands. C. acnes can multiply too moderately when conditions are optimal for optimal growth, which can happen when the sebaceous glands become clogged due to excessive sebum production. The result is a formation of closed comedones, also known as white comedones. C. acnes cause enzymes that break down the lining of the sebaceous glands. This leads to folliculitis (inflamed hair follicles), which can lead to skin breakage and scarring. In some cases, these scars can also become infected. Open comedones, also called blackheads, represent another skin condition related to sebaceous glands. The glands remain open to the outside environment, allowing drainage and access through a pore.
Several treatments have been suggested to clear up acne. Careful and thorough skin cleansing can be beneficial for open comedones. However, this is insufficient, especially with closed comedones, as evidenced by the rapid recurrence of the infection. Examples of the best-known anti-acne products are:
– Retinoids (vitamin A derivatives) are effective by increasing skin cell turnover and increasing the flow of sebum into the hair follicles. However, it may take some time to become visible. Accutane is a well-known example of a retinoid.
– Benzoyl peroxide can be effective, but can also leave skin uncomfortably dry and flaky, cause photosensitivity, and interact with other acne treatments such as retinoids. In addition, the aggressiveness of benzoyl peroxide can spread to other molecules present in the skin and be a cause for it.
– Salicylic acid cleans the pores, but can cause skin irritation and in almost all cases the risk of recurrence is high. This can also be said about essentials such as clove oil, oil of wintergreen and chaulmoogra oil.
Despite available treatments, acne infections, especially those associated with closed comedones, remain an undertreated medical condition that mainly affects many teenagers and young adults (with hormonal changes), and usually undermines their self-esteem and confidence.
The Anna is Clear team has discovered that non-aggressive fermented grain grains have excellent activity, specifically against C. acnes. Through penetration enhancers, the Lactobacillus rye ferment even reaches C. acnes in difficult-to-treat closed skin problems.
The composition of the formula is particularly suitable for treating the problem caused by the bacteria because the high dose of active substance reaches the C. acnes over a short period of time. This is very different from treatment with harsh ingredients, such as the above retinoids, benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid solutions, which require prolonged pain to possibly be effective (e.g. 1 month to 6 months). Shown below the quick results with the Anna is Clear formulation within our test group.
In addition to the unique formula, we have found that using a roll-on applicator allows the composition to be applied gently to the dangerous skin areas without putting much pressure on infections.
By carrying the roll-on with you 24/7, it is possible to maintain the concentration of substances in scattered areas several times a day. The restorative and powerful function of the formula is largely ten fully utilized.
Hopefully this blog has increased your knowledge. If you have skin problems, always consult a dermatologist for professional advice.
